Who is Yiğit Alp Şimşek?

Yiğit Alp Şimşek was born in 2001 in the Erdemli district of Mersin. He completed his primary and secondary education in Mersin and earned his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Near East University.

In 2020, he participated in numerous seminars, including:

  • Schroth Method for Scoliosis

In 2020, he organized and moderated live broadcasts on physiotherapy on YouTube.

In 2021-2022, he successfully completed his internships at a private specialty center.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, he completed his internships in intensive care, wards, and clinics at Near East University Hospital.

In the 2022-2023 season, he successfully completed his role as a full-time physiotherapist for Hamitköy Sports Club in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC).

  • He conducted studies on kinesiology taping and osteopathy in KKTC.
  • He accepted clients for manual therapy at a private clinic.
  • He has been working in manual therapy for a total of four years.

In 2023, he was accepted for an internship at Eden Reha (Germany) Sports Clinic, but was unable to attend.

  • In 2023, he worked as a physiotherapist at FTR Medical Center for five months.

  • Since 2019, he has been receiving regular training on the EMB method from our instructor, Eren Mehmet Bozoğlu, and is actively accepting clients. He has received training on Atlas Therapy from Eren Mehmet Bozoğlu and continues to work on Atlas Therapy regularly.

    He is currently accepting clients at the Atlas Therapy Mersin Branch and progressing successfully.

Who is Erkan Topal?

Erkan Topal was born in 2001 in Mersin. He completed his primary education in Mersin and his secondary education at Ankara TÜZYEKSAV Schools (Turkey’s Gifted and Talented Education Culture Health Foundation Schools). He finished high school at Ankara Çağrıbey Anadolu High School and then at Çözüm College Science High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from Toros University, graduating third in his program.

INTERNSHIPS HE HAS COMPLETED:

In 2022, he completed an internship at Fizyotip Private Specialty Center (focusing on geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and hemiplegia cases).

From 2021 to 2023, he successfully completed internships at:

  • Efizyo Pilates and Manual Therapy Center (focusing on spinal health and manual therapy approaches)
  • Medicalpark Physical Therapy Unit (focusing on geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, and hemiplegia cases)
  • Dementia Alzheimer Nursing Home (focusing on geriatric cases)
  • İzem Special Education Center (focusing on pediatric cases)
  • Toros Sport Center (focusing on athlete health and sports physiotherapy)
  • Ikomt Health Center (focusing on manual therapy in orthopedic cases)
  • Mersin City Hospital (focusing on geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and hemiplegia cases)
  • Toros State Hospital (focusing on geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, hemiplegia, and intensive care cases)

DURING HIS INTERNSHIPS,
he has incorporated therapy methods such as:

  • Dry Needling
  • Manual Therapy Techniques
  • Complementary Therapies

into his professional practice.

He received the following training from Eren Mehmet Bozoğlu:

  • Anatomy and physiology training
  • Trigger point and pain point therapy training
  • Applications for the gastrointestinal system and diaphragm through osteopathic methods
  • Mobilization and manipulation training for joints and the spine
  • Classical tissue massage, deep tissue massage, and deep friction massage training
  • Neuroanatomical and anatomical training focused on the atlas vertebra
  • Kinesiology taping applications for pain and joint areas
  • Physiological and neuroanatomical training on the vagus nerve

He is currently actively providing services to his clients at the Atlas Therapy Mersin Branch.
